I Think I Broke It

I broke my MV a day promise. I'm a knob, but I'll post a vid at the end.

So, prom season is up in my school and I have finally got my dress! Whoop whoop! It's this lovely Betsey Johnson dress which I hoping that eBay doesn't con me out of. LOL.

Now, I have to buy the makeup, bling, and shoes. I really also hope my hair grows long enough to do waves a la Megan Fox. Gorgeous. Shoe idea is to strike me soon, but I hope to find something that will transform my dress from adorable "Girl Next Door" to "Femme Fatale".

bro moments are great, but ...

For a second I kinda felt like the daughter of two doting gay dads. Minus the awkward boob touch. I was a little bit on the tipsy side to mind it, though.

Honestly, I love my homebros. They're legit awesome. Except, well, it can be weird being a femmebro. To update, I went to my hobro's party on Saturday. It was quite fun, and I even had a drink- something that I professed don't really do due to the fact it tastes vile. My bros- well, let's just say they went a step further than me than drinking- had fun as well. They sandwiched me on the couch, and awkwardly trio cuddled underneath a blanket. Don't get me wrong 'cause I enjoyed it, but when I think back, well, the cuddling got a bit too friendly. I only wonder how the situation would have been perceived if I was a realbro.

Still, brolove is deep. I love my bros, and I can see the feelings mutual. It's nice, and no drama attached.

Ps. I totally stalked MUSE even though I missed their concert. Details to come if I'm not a bum.

exams suck ass

Triple post! I'm taking exams this week, and realized I have much less time than I thought I had. Plus, I was watching Interview with a Vampire, making me think how fast time goes for us. Sometimes, I wanna be a vampire and have time to do everything. Cause really, sleep is overrated.

Also, interesting thing about me is that I tend to watch movies (usually something I already watched) and tv while studying/working on projects and everything else. It makes me warm and fuzzy.

I'm kind of drifting. No real ambitions, no real goals. I just want to stay at home, sit in front of the television, and knit. I don't want to think. I don't want to do homework. I really don't want to study. Before you know it, a day has passed and I haven't done much. Where is my life going away to?

it's hard to be a bro

I'm kind of a bro at heart. So, sometimes I think that because of my bro-side, it makes it hard for a guy to like me. Also, it makes it tough for me, when I talk with my male friends about other girls. It makes me wonder, why not me. Although, I can tell it's cause they're not meant for me. I still want to be loved. However, helping someone else out takes out some of the focus about my past broken hearts. Not to mention it's really fun working out and exposing a guy. =]

Vampire Weekend's new album Contra is out this week, either today or tmrw. Awesome! So this week is dedicated to Vampire Weekend.

I'm not finished my essay, but I feel really compelled to knit right now. I've made a hat so far. I hope I can make another and sell them. =]

I'm also contemplating getting a tattoo. Top 3 choices would have to be dragon, snakes in a Celtic knot, or a siren. Top 3 body parts are side of the hip, lower back or just below my neck. Still not sure, though. Oh well.

I'm currently procrastinating on an English essay, so I'm grateful for internet tv and Eunny Jang's Bayerische socks. Very involved. I've given up on the cap for my aunt right now, so I'll tell her it will be finished after my essay.

I owe my friend the new Vampire Weekend album, but I hope that I also have the funds for new double pointed needles. On temporary leave for work from over-staffing, so I don't have an income at the moment. Though I hope I can convince my mom for this set of Harmonys. Not only are they pretty, but they're reasonable priced. Double awesome.

My friend has me watching Dexter. It's not my completely my cup of tea, but it's interesting enough to keep me hooked.

Also, I'm quite sad that David Tennant left Doctor Who. In fact, immensely sad. However, I do love the plot, so I hope Matt Smith can bring enough to keep me watching.

Back to knitting. It's my aunt's bday today and she asked if I could make her a hat. She wondered if I could finish it by tmrw. Let's hope I can.

Today's Oh-Em-Gee moment is brought to you by the TTC (Toronto Transport Commission). I was catching the bus with some friends, getting on the bus first. The other friend came on, and when the other two were just about to get on the door closes and drives away. Gutpunch.

Also, TTC needs to make up it's mind with bus fare. First, they raise the price, making it an additional 10 cents, and now it's 15. I honestly hope they stop changing the costs. It's ridiculous since they already got a frickin' raise during the strike.

I'm beginning to lose sense of time what with my messed up sleep-cycle.

It s currently 3:29am on the date of Jan 4. I'm up at this hour because I can't bring myself to sleep. I guess instead of sleep I'll do a blog post.

I adore Muse. Matt Bellamy is amazing. So when I heard they were playing in Toronto, guess who jumped with excitement like the knob she is? Floor tickets are approximately $400, but so f-ckin' worth. I'm serious, if I don't get tickets I will die on the inside. Although, there is another problem to being able to see Muse is the date. They're coming March 8, 2010. . . on a Monday. Fail. Which would have been okay if it was the week after because that's my mid-winter break.

I'll just find someone to go with first. On to Monday's song.

New year, new plans, new life

So, for the New Year, I have a plan.

1. I'm going to share with the world one song a day. If I miss a day, I'll double post the next. It's going to be fun, and I'll expand my song repertoire at the same time.

2. Be more positive and optimistic.

3. Do my best to work harder.

4. And this is my last, but more of a wish: I hope that I can find love.
